Raven Oaks is committed to pairing the highest level of vineyard and grape growing practices with its meticulous winemaking procedures in order to yield optimal fruit extraction, concentrated flavor and balance in our Cabernet Franc and Syrah varietals. Grown on terraced hillsides, surrounded by water on three sides of the neighboring lake reservoir, each block of the 140 acres parcel contains carefully chosen varietals and root stocks that are congruent with the soil type and sun orientation. This, along with the Mediterranean climate, natural water drainage and hands on vineyard practices allow for a smaller berry size, thus maximizing skin to juice ratio, which offer these estate grown, hand crafted wines, unique to the Sierra Foothills.
