syrah 2001

Our Syrah comes from a number of different blocks in the vineyards, many terraced, rocky and steep and others a gently rolling mix of rock and soil. The wine displays a dark red color with hints of earth and dried berries in the nose.

On the palette the wine shows flavors of dried red cherry and currant and finishes with some earthy red tones of leather and smoke, complimented by a nice touch of toasty American and French Oak.
